This tool has been designed for small to medium sized businesses using less than $200,000 annually on electricity; it is available in two versions to focus on needs of commercial and industrial customers.

This tool provides:

• An action plan
• A benchmarking report (comparing your facility's energy use to similar customers)

This will help you:

• Save money and improve efficiency at your facility.
• Prioritize your greatest opportunities for savings.
• Raise awareness in your organization.
• Review your company's progress over time.
• Increase your knowledge and gain a greater understanding of how to reduce costs at your facility.

After you have gathered the information required it will take between 5-10 minutes to complete the questions contained in the tool. The action plan and benchmark report will be presented to you immediately upon completion.

Before you start the Energy Evaluator Tool, please have the following information ready:

1. Business contact information;
2. Estimated business operating hours per week;
3. Electricity costs as a percentage of your operating costs;
4. Annual electricity costs;
5. List of major electric consuming systems including recent upgrades.
