Board and Committees
BC Hydro's Board of Directors (Board) is appointed by the Lieutenant-Governor in Council and is responsible for the overall direction of the company. Directors form committees that deal with specific matters. Day-to-day leadership and management of the corporation is delegated to the Chief Executive Officer.

The Corporate Secretary supports the Board by organizing and recording activities of the Board and committee meetings. The Corporate Secretary also provides advice to the Board, Directors, and employees to ensure compliance with BC Hydro's governance framework.
