Resource Expenditure & Acquisition Plan

BC Hydro has prepared its Resource Expenditure and Acquisition Plan (REAP) to satisfy the requirements of section 45(6.1) of the Utilities Commission Act, which came into force in May 2003.

The REAP was developed in the context of BC Hydro's longer term Integrated Electricity Plan (IEP). The REAP identifies the anticipated plans and resulting expenditures on capital projects, resource acquisition, and demand side management that form BC Hydro's current plans.
