The Capacity Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) is now closed. To all of those who responded by submitting an RFEI Questionnaire, BC Hydro thanks you for your participation in this process. This information will be used to characterize B.C.'s dependable capacity resource potential and to help determine the basis for a competitive acquisition process to secure capacity from the private sector. In addition, information from the RFEI will be incorporated into the 2006 Integrated Electricity Plan (IEP).

RFEI Questionnaire responses submitted before November 30, 2004 are currently being summarized by an external consulting firm. Aggregate results will be shared during the stakeholder engagement process for the 2005 IEP and will be available at the beginning of February 2005.

Although the Capacity RFEI is closed, any responses submitted after November 30, 2004 will be used to support BC Hydro's 2005 IEP. In addition interested parties may still submit project information up until January 21, 2005 as part of the 2005 IEP Request for Information (RFI) process.
