Less than 48 hours after a barge carrying a crane damaged power lines to Mudge and Gabriola islands near Nanaimo, our crews repaired the lines and restored power. Robson, B.C.'s volunteer fire department is one of the winners as BC Hydro funds four projects in the Castlegar area. And Kimberley's SunMine solar power installation has won yet another award, this time at the Union of B.C. Municipalities convention.
