We take steps to try to prevent power outages, but as the Vancouver Sun reports, outages are a fact of life in a province covered by trees that can fall on power lines. Meanwhile, not-for-profit groups across B.C. are invited to put video submissions together in an effort to win one of five $10,000 conservation awards as part of our Community Champions program.
