Pump System Optimization Workshop for the Pulp & Paper Industry Make Text Larger Make Text Smaller Print This Page

Pump systems are one of the largest end-uses in the pulp and paper industry in B.C. When pump systems are not optimized for the best efficiency, they will drain your company's profitability with higher energy and maintenance costs, shorter mean time between repairs, and less reliable systems overall. Better system design and optimized systems may save you up to $350K per year on energy alone!

It is time to find out how much your pump systems are costing you and what solutions you have to improve their efficiency.

What you will learn

Developed by Pump Systems Matter and sponsored by Power Smart, this workshop will help you learn about

  • the importance of pump system efficiency
  • system optimization and improvement opportunities
  • basic system interaction and screening
  • use of tools for system analysis
  • life-cycle cost analysis
  • action plan development
  • resources and follow-up strategy

Who should attend

Professionals in the pulp and paper industry who are interested in better understanding pump systems and who want to learn the financial benefits of pump system optimization, variable speed drives and life cycle costs.
