What is RSS
RSS (commonly translated as "Really Simple Syndication" but sometimes as "Rich Site Summary") are web feed formats used to publish frequently updated web content, such as news headlines and blogs.
Why it's valuable
RSS uses a standard format that can be read with a RSS feed reader or news aggregator. It’s an excellent tool for those who want to subscribe to timely updates from favoured websites or to aggregate feeds from many sites into one place.
What you need
If your browser does not include an RSS feed reader, consider downloading a reader from the list compiled at the DMOZ (Open Directory Project).
