The Editor Editor's Note
As summer comes to an end and the days become shorter, many of us will be spending less time outdoors and more time in our homes watching TV, playing video games and working on the computer. To minimize your electricity usage, make sure to turn off all electronics when not in use. A household that turns off one TV, one video game console and one computer when they're not being used, for an average of four hours per day, could save more than $40 a year in energy costs. Plus, cutting down on energy use reduces CO2 emissions and slows demand for new power projects.

If you would like to become involved with any of our engagement initiatives, or would like to share your thoughts with us, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at nicole.young@bchydro.com. We're always looking for bright ideas!
