Energy Challenge: 2 households to battle on energy efficiency

How would you like to go head-to-head with another household in an electricity-saving battle? What if the winner's prize was a $6,000 home entertainment system featuring a 46-inch ENERGY STAR® LED TV?
Yeah. Thought so.
Watch Global TV Morning News for details on how qualifying Lower Mainland households of three persons or more can enter the Power Smart Energy Challenge contest. Or go to the contest page now for details on how to enter the contest.
Once the entries are in, two households will be randomly selected for the Energy Challenge, which will run October 6-31. And each household will get some help from an Energy Coach, a Power Smart engineer (Greg Morandini or Tony Mauro).
The household which reduces its electricity use by the largest percentage over the challenge period will get the big TV – we'll haul away and recycle or donate your old TV, if you like – plus a variety of other energy-efficient electronics.
