Advisors bring knowledge of incentives, and how to apply for them

Sometimes you just need a helping hand. And when that help comes with energy efficiency knowledge, ideas for saving money, and experience applying for incentives – you know you're working with a Business Energy Advisor (BEA).

Business Energy Advisors available for free

BEAs are funded by BC Hydro and FortisBC – which means their service is free to you. Their first step is to visit your site to identify energy saving opportunities. The assessment is based on visual verifications of installed equipment and operation data (e.g. billing and consumption analysis).

Next, the Business Energy Advisor provides an analysis of the information, along with energy-saving recommendations. From there, they help connect you to the appropriate BC Hydro and/or FortisBC approved contractor who provides a further assessment and a project quote.

Advisors help with access to incentives

BEAs are knowledgeable about incentives offered by BC Hydro and FortisBC. They'll help you understand which incentives are available, your eligibility, and how you can apply.

Business Energy Advisors know your time is valuable; they're available from start to finish to help you save time, energy and money. By making the most of this free service, you can eliminate energy waste and improve your company's profitability.
