BC Hydro supports Earth Hour 2012: What did you do?

Supported provincially by BC Hydro, Earth Hour 2012 was on Saturday, March 31 from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (local time), and this year, it was about more than 60 minutes.

Earth Hour, and BC Hydro, are asking people to use this event as motivation to make plans and take action to reduce energy use year round.

And B.C. got off to a good start. Led by Revelstoke, the community which saved the biggest percentage of electricity on March 31, 2012, B.C. saved 12 megawatt hours of electricity.

See B.C.'s results for Earth Hour 2012.
