Two world championship titles at Korean ski hill

Two for two.

Racing has been going really well here in Korea. We've raced twice so far – slalom and giant slalom – and I won the IPC World Championship title in both!

Most importantly. I've been really happy with my skiing – particularly in giant slalom – so I hope to keep that going. We get back to racing on Monday with a super combined followed by a Super-G on Tuesday.

The ski resort I'm at here in Korea is very different – it's like an amusement park. There is Korean music blasting from each chairlift tower (boy bands) and a roller coaster that runs up and down about half the hill.

Until next time,

Lauren

Editor's note: Lauren later won her third and fourth world titles of these championships. She took gold in the super G, then won the downhill as well.

Previous post: A strong season so far, for me and for Canada
