50% Reduction in rate increase

The Province of BC has directed the British Columbia Utilities Commission to confirm a 50% reduction to the cumulative rate increase in BC Hydro’s Amended Revenue Requirements Application for fiscal years 2012-2014.

The total rate increase over three years will be about 17 per cent.
