Whether you are a contractor, distributor, consultant engineer, designer or
architect, there are a number of ways you can earn your PROJECT POINTS.
How to earn points
Earn points by completing any of the following activities:
>Energy-EfficientProjects: for projects that result in energy savings of 2,000 kWh/yr
or over.
>Leads for New Construction: for individuals who provide sales leads for the
development of new commercial buildings with a potential of 10000 kWh energy
savings or higher.
If you are involved with other activities that promote energy efficiency that
are not included in the PROJECT POINTS initiative, email
us and we will consider your activity.
How to submit points
Log in to Your
Project Points and complete your applications for points online.
Each project or activity requires the completion and submission of an appropriate
application form to be eligible for points.
Project Applications are now being accepted from September 1, 2011 onwards.
Where applicable, fax supporting documents (e.g., invoices, proposals) to
604 453 6283.
How points are approved
We'll review all applications and supporting documents within two weeks of
receipt and, if approved, points will be awarded. Applications will be reviewed
in order of the date they are received.
If several applicants submit an application for the same activity for the
same customer, the first application received will take precedence.
BC Hydro has the right to refuse applications and does not guarantee PROJECT POINTS.
Co-applicants
We welcome the opportunity for members to work together. Applications may
be submitted by any number of co-applicants; however, only one form per project
is required and accepted.
Upon approval of a project, BC Hydro will divide the earned points equally
among the co-applicants. All applicants and co-applicants must be registered
with the PROJECT POINTS initiative.
