Power Smart Partners Program Changes
Effective immediately, a significant change has been made to the Power Smart Partners (PSP) program for Commercial, Government and Institutional customers.
To better align both Commercial and Industrial Power Smart Partner programs, the following two changes have been made to Commercial Power Smart Partner thresholds:
- The incentive level ceiling of 60% of incremental project cost has now been increased to a maximum of 75%.
- The threshold for total energy savings by project has been decreased from 100,000 kWh to 50,000 kWh.
Note that for Commercial PSP, the following requirements still exist for lighting projects:
- Lighting projects must include a minimum 30% lighting redesign
- Lighting projects must incorporate some lighting controls
PSP PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS – REMINDER
- For energy studies, all customers must first have completed their Opportunity Assessment
- All lighting projects, both for study or direct to incentive funding must include a completed copy of the PS Energy Savings calculator
INDUSTRIAL LIGHTING
An initiative has been launched to promote lighting retrofits for Industrial customers.
- A completed copy of the PS Energy Savings calculator must be completed
- Industrial lighting projects do not require lighting redesign or controls
