New Construction Incentives Program Launched
October 2006 - Power Smart’s new High Performance Building Program for small and medium buildings offers great energy saving incentives. It helps you assist your customers with the installation of better quality lighting products, and your customers benefit from lower operating costs and superior lighting.
Targeted to owners, developers and designers of commercial development projects between 6,000 to 50,000 square feet, the new initiative falls under the umbrella of the High Performance Building Program. It provides tools and incentives for designers to create lighting designs that meet or beat ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1-2004. The program also provides incentives for installing new energy efficient design.
Customers can bundle new building projects together to meet the minimum 6,000 square feet and $500 in capital incentive thresholds. With bundled projects, the $1,000 lighting design fund is paid only once.
