With more than 40 sessions and an expanded tradeshow program, the 2009 edition of the Power Smart Forum and Tradeshow is bigger and better than ever.

Slated for October 13 to 15, 2009 at Vancouver’s newly-expanded Trade and Convention Centre, BC’s leading energy conservation conference is packed with opportunities to learn about the latest energy efficiency trends and product developments from, and with, industry experts and business peers. Learn more about such topics as financing your energy investments, how to deliver a winning energy conservation behavioural program for employees, or how to fully benefit from BC Hydro’s Energy Management Information System. In addition to workshops focusing on commercial and industrial issues, this year’s program also features sessions dedicated to two new streams: Community/Government relations and Information Technology.

The tradeshow portion of the event has also grown this year, with more exhibit space and longer hours of operation. The 2009 tradeshow takes place on October 15, from 11:30 am to 5:00 pm, and more than 60 Alliance members are expected to participate in the exhibition. And if this year is anything like last year’s conference – the event attracted a record 700 attendees – it will be a great opportunity to connect directly with some of today’s industry leaders and compare notes with colleagues in an informal business setting.

Be sure to register to attend the forum by September 18 to take advantage of early-bird registration and for a chance to win tickets to the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
