Increased Energy Study & Audits Funding Result in Energy Savings Sales Opportunities
The Energy Study & Audits funding level has increased to 75 percent. This means that there are new opportunities and that past studies that failed to proceed with the 50 percent funding may now be economically viable.
Customer projects that qualify for Plant Wide Energy Audits (PWEA) or Energy Efficiency Feasibility Studies (EEFS) are eligible to receive from BC Hydro funding representing 75 percent of the study cost. In addition, customers have the potential of receiving 100 percent of the study costs if they implement the recommended measures.
Make sure your customers are aware of this great funding and study opportunity. You’ll also want to ensure the BC Hydro Key Account Manager is aware of all the projects in which you and your customers are involved, so they can monitor progress and assist in determining funding eligibility.
