As part of the terms of the membership agreement, all member firms must register and meet specific requirements within a two-year period. Each sector within the industry has its own set of requirements that reflect current best practices. Members can also take advantage of numerous learning and business benefits, such as networking opportunities, reward initiatives and special rates for conferences.
Requirements
Requirements for each sector include attending annual mandatory Power Smart orientations and accumulating a pre-determined number of credits. Credits are earned by a firm and its registered employees through a mix of business and learning activities. Members can choose from any combination of Project, Learning or Event Credits, provided they meet the criteria outlined for their respective level.
The goal is to support members as leaders in energy efficiency. All activities are designed to not only encourage the promotion of energy conservation, but also to help members leverage their skills and grow their business.
