Aboriginal

BC Hydro and Aboriginal groups are engaged in a thorough consultation process that will continue through all stages of the project.

In Stage 3, BC Hydro will:

• Continue to consult and engage Aboriginal groups.
• Provide information about Site C and identify interests and concerns.
• Negotiate consultation agreements.
• Facilitate participation in the environmental assessment process.

As part of the consultation and engagement process, BC Hydro is also working with Aboriginal communities to identify opportunities for benefits, such as skills training, jobs and economic development.
