Construction Schedule

BC Hydro has begun the early site preparation works for the trail, road and parking lot realignments. The major construction work would begin this fall after the contract award this summer. BC Hydro is working towards having the first replacement generating unit in-service by 2017.

The project is planned to be fully completed by the end of 2018.

BC Hydro is now issuing monthly construction reports and will continue to do so until project completion.
