College Trades Program

In early 2009, BC Hydro piloted a new Electrical Safety Presentation to be delivered across the province to students in college and university trades programs.

A variation of the safety information provided to industry workers, this pilot was designed to meet the requests of trades programs to provide safety training that focuses primarily on high-voltage power-line safety.

The current presentation incorporates video and slide material in an interactive 90-minute presentation that effectively reaches student audiences to deliver BC Hydro's message of power-line safety.
