From time to time BC Hydro has material and equipment surplus to its needs. Cars and trucks, electrical equipment, computers, tools, scrap metal and other surplus assets are sold through public tender or cash and carry.

Public tender of surplus material and equipment

Public tenders of surplus material and equipment are available on the provincial government website, BC Bid.

Cash and carry of surplus material and equipment

BC Hydro has a "cash and carry" store, open to the public Thursdays only from 9:00 a.m. to noon, and 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
