All spring and summer, our Community Outreach representatives have been busy bringing the Power the Games Save Like a Champion Tour to communities throughout British Columbia.
And it's been hard to miss us because we travel with a bright green, 29-foot Conservation Lab and GM Hybrid vehicle.
We've visited Vancouver, Burnaby, Lumby and more, at events like Science World Free Day, Whitecaps Family Night and Lumby Days.
With Winter Games-themed activities like our slalom course (people race to practice energy-saving behaviours) and pedal-powered bobsleigh, British Columbians of all ages are learning just how easy it is to save energy. You can even try curling. Okay, it's actually shuffleboard, but the concept is much the same.
Come by and try your skills at these and other activities. We'll be visiting events in your community.
Want to know where we'll be next? Check out our Interactive Map, which has all of the details of our Tour Stops and information about events in your community that we will be attending.
Remember, if you see our bright green convoy, enter our Spot the Tour contest to win a cool gift bag full of gear to help you and your family conserve.
Upcoming events include the Celebration of Light, the Abbotsford AgriFair, Terrace River Boat Days, the Prince George Exhibition, and the Victoria Dragon Boat Festival.
See you at the Tour.
