Where: Captin Toyota Employee Awareness, Delta
Captin Toyota, a Delta, B.C. auto rim company, hosted a barbeque with BC Hydro Community Outreach representatives to launch their Strategic Energy Management Program.
In all the events I have partaken as a Community Outreach representative, never have I encountered people more excited about Team Power Smart and ready to sign up. As the event began, the employees came out in waves, pens in hand - ready to become the newest members of Team Power Smart, and make their energy conservation commitment.
Their newly developed Strategic Energy Management program is a clear message to both employees and the public that energy saving tips and techniques are a welcome addition to their daily business. With graphs, charts and awards, all displaying their improvements in energy efficiency displayed prominently beside the front door, it is easy for all that step foot in the factory to jump aboard their conservation movement.
As seen here in this photo with a banner signed by all of their employees celebrating energy cost reductions, Captin Toyota shows all the benefits of conservation. Lights on timers, machines on auto shut-off, and most importantly a team dedicated to reducing their energy consumption. This has all enabled Captin Toyota to save energy and become proud conservationists!
