Our Vision & Purpose

At BC Hydro, we are committed to sustainability for generations, and to support and strengthen the communities we serve. Through our Community Investment and Outreach program, we connect to people and communities who share our interest in building an energy conservation culture. We support organizations that are active in one of our key areas: environmental sustainability, youth education and community leadership.

Environmental Sustainability

Initiatives with a focus on environmental sustainability that foster personal and/or corporate action for energy conservation in B.C.

Youth Education

Initiatives that offer opportunities to educate B.C. youth on environmental sustainability, B.C.'s energy future and personal action for energy conservation in B.C.

Community Leadership

Initiatives that provide opportunities for people to develop leadership skills by engaging and educating others about environmental sustainability, B.C.'s energy future, allowing for personal and/or corporate action for energy conservation in B.C.
