Previous Campaigns

Every year, HYDRECS (BC Hydro Employees' Community Services) provides project funding to a number of charities, and each year we identify five Special Projects for support. These are more intensive plans that are promoted during our annual two-month BC Hydro employee/retiree fundraising campaign.

Here's how we disperse Special Project funding:

  • Provincial project funding up to $100,000
  • Regional project funding:
    • Up to $30,000 for the Lower Mainland
    • Up to $10,000 for Vancouver Island
