Become a BC Hydro Community Champion

The BC Hydro Community Champion program [PDF, 169 Kb] is a student program that encourages grade 4 to 12 classes around British Columbia to nominate an environmental organization that is making a difference in their local community.

The 2012 edition of Community Champions is currently being developed. Check back in September for more information.

About the program

The program is an opportunity for young residents to engage with their local community groups to learn how to make an environmental difference. It works in concert with other Power Smart youth initiatives and the conservation ethic already introduced by BC Hydro.
