By identifying and providing opportunities to Aboriginal businesses, we are honouring our commitment to First Nations. Our ability to operate depends on it. Not only can we secure access to land and resources, but we will also have access to trained, competitive suppliers.
We host workshops for Aboriginal businesses that explain how we operate and the types of goods and services we require. The workshops are sponsored by BC Hydro, in conjunction with Aboriginal capital corporations, development corporations and business associations, to provide Aboriginal and band-owned businesses with the tools needed to put together winning bids.

- Line construction
- Graphic design
- Road construction
- Maintenance and de-commissioning
- Rights-of-way clearing and maintenance
- Archaeological assessment
- Environmental assessment
- Equipment rentals
- Consulting services of all kinds.
