ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Established in 1999, the goal of our program is to restore fish and wildlife resources that have been adversely affected by the original footprint development of hydroelectric facilities in the Bridge Coastal Generation Area. These footprint impacts include historical effects on fish and wildlife that have occurred as a result of reservoir creation, watercourse diversions and the construction of dam structures.
This is accomplished through a competitive grant-awarding process with approximately $1.7 million available annually for eligible projects.
