Brian Assu
First Nation Representative

Brian has an impressive background in the commercial and sentinel fisheries in the Campbell River area. He also holds prominent positions on a number of boards and councils, including the Cape Mudge Indian Band Council, Hamatla Treaty Society, the Comox-Strathcona Regional Board, the South Coast Advisory Board and Chairs the A-Tlegay Fisheries Society.

Mike Gage
Public Representative

Mike has been a fundraiser and driving force in side channel projects on the Campbell River system for the past several years. He is currently Chair of the River Gravel Committee, Director of the Tyee Club of B.C. and Regional Board Member on the Nature Conservancy of Canada.

Frances Genaille
First Nation Representative

Frances has held a variety of prominent positions with the Peters First Nation Band and is currently their Administration Officer. She has a history of developing programs and services including conservation and salmon habitat projects for the Peters Band. In addition Frances has been a member of the Fraser Basin Council.

Ed Woo
Department of Fisheries and Oceans Representative

Ed is the Director of the Biological and Engineering Support Division, Habitat and Enhancement Branch. He has extensive experience with the Salmonid Enhancement Program having worked there for many years both as a project engineer and a manager. He is currently involved in the development and implementation of regional and national habitat restoration and development programs.
