The BC Hydro Employees' Community Services (HYDRECS) Committee has selected its special projects for the 2010 Fundraising Campaign being launched on September 22, 2009 to November 30, 2009.
Each year, the HYDRECS Committee conduct a provincial fundraising campaign that encourages BC Hydro employees and retirees to donate towards their favourite registered charity, or the pre-selected special projects. All financial contributions received by HYDRECS are directed to the charities. Pledges can easily be made as a one-time lump sum, payroll deductions, annual vacation days, or overtime bank days.
To be eligible as a special project the organization must be a B.C.-registered charity seeking funds for a specific capital project that serves the community in a specific B.C. region or the entire province.
The HYDRECS Committee is pleased to announce the 2010 HYDRECS Campaign Special Projects:
The 2009 Campaign raised pledges over $900,000 benefiting over 650 charities.
