BC Hydro's Service Plan is prepared for presentation to the BC Legislature under the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act.
The plan outlines BC Hydro's vision, values and objectives, along with key strategies and the results it expects to achieve in the three-year period from 2011/2012 through 2013/2014. The performance measures support BC Hydro's commitment to the triple bottom line – environmental, social and economic – and allow the Legislature and the public to track the company's progress over time.
Each year, BC Hydro reviews and refines its strategic objectives and performance measures to ensure the company will continue to fulfill our vision of "Powering B.C. with clean, reliable electricity for Generations".
