This is the number of industry workers and first responders outside of BC Hydro that received training on electrical safety. The number of first responders trained in fiscal 2008 decreased slightly as we prepare to launch a training resource that will enable Firefighters to build awareness amongst their own staff on electrical hazards in their work. BC Hydro has also developed educational resources on electrical safety for Grades 2, 6, and 10 for schools across the province.
