The above figure illustrates the average number of workdays lost per employee (FTE) due to illness (and recorded as such in time & labour). This figure does not include absences related to occupational injury/illness (i.e. WCB covered events) or long-term disability.
This is a new metric and therefore has no established target for fiscal 2008. Fiscal 2007 result (captured for internal reporting purposes only) was 6.3 days lost per employee.
