Employee training efforts over the last year have been focused on building a foundation of safety, technical and leadership skills. The training events reported in the above table were extracted from the Training Qualification and Training System, which tracks training events that have been recorded with the exception of the Corporate Human Resources component. Corporate Human Resources has offered a number of training programs designed to build on leadership competency, which include Leading for Results, Supervising for Results, Coaching and Engagement Skills, Energizing Your Career and Get Organized. In fiscal 2009, a total of 1,123 employees attended the 72 sessions hosted.
