Employee training efforts over the last year have been focused on building a foundation of safety, technical and leadership skills. Generation Technical Training developed 17 new technical courses, delivered 55 Generation-related technical training courses to 431 attendees. Trades Training Instructors conducted 39.5 hours of on the job training. The Training Development Centre developed two Power Line Technician courses, one electrician course, 11 Safety courses, and 14 Communication, Protection & Control Technology courses.

The training events reported in the above table were extracted from the Training Qualification and Training System, which tracks training events that have been recorded. This is the first year that these statistics have been reported.
