Employee training efforts over the last year have been focused on building a foundation of safety, technical and leadership skills. A standardized BC Hydro model of technical and safety training was developed that is based on adult education principles and employees' demonstration of required skills. In addition, over 200 managers completed a five-day program to build a common base of organizational, team and personal leadership skills.
