BC Hydro provides mandatory Respectful Workplace training to all new hires via group sessions with the total combined hours of these sessions reflected above. Over 1,300 new employees attended the training in fiscal 2008 and close to 900 in fiscal 2009. During fiscal 2009, the Respectful Workplace training sessions were increased from 2.5 hours to 3 hours to add additional focus on diversity.
