Green Gigwatt Hours (GWh) is the cumulative online gigawatt hours contracted from green sources that meet purchase price limits. This includes projects from the 2000 Expression of Interest, 2001 Green Call, one project from the 2002 Customer-Based Generation (CBG) Call and the 2003 Green Power Generation Call.

The Green GWh definition and targets were established over four years ago, and was not updated when BC Hydro acquired additional green energy over planned acquisition targets in the two Green Calls. In addition, CBG projects were reported under a separate measure. Purchases for fiscal 2007 are higher then fiscal 2006 as one additional project came online in fiscal 2007.
