Michele Morgan

Senior Vice President, Smart Metering Infrastructure Project

Appointed July 3, 2008, Michele Morgan brings with her a wealth of experience from the private and public sector to BC Hydro. This includes her role as Vice President and CIO at Teekay Corporation, where Michele was responsible for the IT requirements of over 8,000 employees across 15 offices, world-wide.

Prior to this, Michele was the Director of Information Systems and Telecommunications at Children’s and Women’s Health Centre where she headed Management Information System (MIS) servicing for all business functions of Administration and Corporate Services. There she also instituted an organizational-wide governance model for selection and implementation of technology and systems, established benchmarks, and met targets for technology and systems performance.

Michele has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Ulster, executive training at INSEAD and is currently working on completing an executive MBA at New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
