Senior Vice-President, Field Operations

Image of Gary Rodford Gary was appointed Senior Vice-President, Field Operations in May 2006. He is responsible for management of the distribution assets. This covers asset planning, system design, construction, maintenance, and emergency repair, and management of fleet services, material management and related administrative products and services. In addition, Gary is responsible for providing services and administrative products to the British Columbia Transmission Corporation.

Since joining BC Hydro in 1971, Gary has held a number of technical, supervisory and managerial positions throughout BC Hydro, most recently as Vice-President, Field Services.

Gary graduated from BCIT in 1971 with a diploma in Electrical Power Engineering.
