Debbie Nagle

Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer

Debbie Nagle was appointed as the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer on November 16, 2010 after serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer since July, 2008. Debbie is also responsible for the office of the corporate Chief Safety, Health and Environment Officer.

Debbie has been an HR professional in the energy sector for more than 15 years and has 20 years of broad-based HR generalist and specialist experience in both the public and private sectors.

Debbie joined BC Hydro in October 2005 when she assumed the role of Director, HR for Powerex and in October 2007, moved to Field Operations to backfill the Director, HR and Training role.

Prior to working for BC Hydro, Debbie worked for Terasen Gas for 10 years and held a variety of senior HR roles; her last role was Manager, Enterprise Process Strategies.

Debbie completed her Masters of Business Administration from Royal Roads University in 2001 and holds a BC CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) designation.
