Chris O'Riley

Executive Vice-President, Generation

Chris O'Riley is the Executive Vice-President of Generation and has been a member of the Executive Team since 2007. Over 20 years, he has worked in many groups across BC Hydro including Generation, Customer Care, Powerex and Corporate Risk. Management of risk has been a theme through his career.

He is responsible for the operations and maintenance of, and engineering and long term reinvestment in, BC Hydro's Heritage generating assets and dams.

Chris is a Professional Engineer and holds a Master's in Business Administration. He lives in Vancouver with his wife and three children, where he is active in his local community.
