Chris O'Riley has been the Senior Vice-President of Engineering, Aboriginal Relations and Generation since 2007. Over 20 years, he has worked in many groups across BC Hydro including Generation, Customer Care, Powerex and Corporate Risk. Management of risk has been a theme through his career.
He is responsible for the operations and maintenance of, and long term reinvestment in, BC Hydro's Heritage generating assets and dams; performance of engineering services for generation, transmission and distribution, and; building relationships with First Nations across the province on behalf of both BC Hydro and BCTC.
Chris is a Professional Engineer and holds a Master's in Business Administration. He lives in Vancouver with his wife and three sons, where he is active in his local community.
