Chris O'Riley
Senior Vice-President, Engineering, Aboriginal Relations and Generation
In September 2007, Chris O'Riley was appointed Senior Vice-President of Engineering, Aboriginal Relations and Generation. Prior to this, Chris led Generation Operations since June 2006.
After receiving his Bachelors of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, he joined BC Hydro in 1990 as an engineer-in-training working on Vancouver Island, in the Central Interior and in Vancouver. He subsequently graduated with an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. Chris has worked in numerous areas of BC Hydro, including Powerex, Corporate Risk and Generation.
