Nancy Olewiler

Nancy Olewiler is a Professor of Public Policy and Director of the School of Public Policy at Simon Fraser University. Her research in recent years focuses on environmental policy and the economy. She has published academic papers, texts and policy studies in the areas of taxation, natural resources and environmental economics, and public finance.

Nancy was a member of the Federal Technical Committee on Business Taxation. She is a Director of TransLink.

Nancy has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Barnard College, Columbia University, a Master of Arts from Simon Fraser University, and a PhD from the University of British Columbia, all in Economics.
